No, he was banned because he was not the first to report it. Jagex offered a lifetime membership to the first person to show them how the glitch worked. The others who had reported it did not get a chance at the lifetime membership, instead their IP Address were permintally banned. Funny thing being is it was the only time that Jagex wasn't able to fix a glitch.
