Rule 9 prohibited the encouragement of others to break the rules. It was one of the original Rules of Conduct, but as of 11 May 2009, this rule now falls under the Honour category. The punishments for attempting to encourage others to violate the Rules of Conduct varied depending on the degree, and could go up to a permanent ban/mute.
NOTE: All examples of encouraging others to break the rules, including those not listed on this page, are still reportable under the 'Encouraging rule breaking' subsection of Honour, and the punishments for guilty parties remain the same.
