Rule 2

Rule 2 prohibits item scamming. It is one of the Rules of Conduct. This includes the Guthan's Spear Scam, Trimming Armour Scam, Broken Axe Scam, Gem Cutting Scam, and countless other scams. A list of item scams can be found. Even though this rule is in effect, there are many who still scam. Any player who is caught scamming may receive punishment up to a permanent ban depending on the severity of the scam.

Victim trades scammer.

Scammer offers spinach roll, Victim offers 10 million coins.

Both accept trade and Victim has been scammed out of 10 million coins, as spinach rolls are not rare.

Victim: What a noob!

Victim reports Scammer for item scamming.

Note: Overpricing an item is legal but not saying it's rare when it's not.
