Rule 12

From the Dark RuneScape Wiki - follow the rules, or else!

Rule 12 prohibits trading virtual RuneScape items and coins for real life money and vice-versa. It is one of the Rules of Conduct, and JaGeX has stated that they will permanently ban anyone that they catch breaking this rule due to its severity. This includes Real World Item Trading.

Person 1 buys the gold on the site.

Person 2 (ingame): Here's the gold you ordered. Thank you for buying from www.freeRunescapegoldanditems.com

Person 1: Thank you very much!

Person 3 sees this occurring from a distance and reports Person 1 and Person 2 for real world item trading.
