Range bots are rare macros that often like to range monsters to collect the profitable items the monsters drop. These macros are usually not default looking players and may often be played by a user. Many players are unaware of these kinds of macros and usually do not get suspicious.
How to spot them[]
In most cases, the Ranging bot/borg will be placed on a safe spot ranging Blue Dragons (usually in Orge Enclave) to collect the hides they drop, similar to the Green Dragon bot. They will normally use dragonhide armour and magic composite bows. If you have a suspicion that a player is a ranging bot, report them.
