Jagex is the company that runs and monitors RuneScape. Jagex is an acronym of JAva Gaming EXperts. Jagex is based in the United Kingdom. Click here to visit the Jagex Website.

Note that although Jagex's logo is 3D lettering spelling out the name 'JAGeX', this is only their logo, and not the actual name of the company. Jagex's official registered name is Jagex Limited, or Jagex Ltd.

Jagex have often wrongly been criticized for never listening to their players. Overall, however, Jagex is a well-received company, ranking 59th on the Sunday Times' 100 Best Companies to Work For list. Click here view 'Best Company' page on the Jagex Website.
